MenuWise (“we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by StatoTech Systems. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the MenuWise platform. By using MenuWise, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account information

• Name and email address
• Password (stored securely using one-way hashing)

Restaurant information

• Restaurant name, address, and phone number
• Menu content (categories, items, prices, descriptions)
• Logo and images you upload

Usage data

• QR code scan counts
• Page views and device type
• Country (determined via IP geolocation)

Customer data

We do not collect personal information from customers who scan your QR codes. No login is required to view a menu, and no cookies are set on menu pages.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the MenuWise service
• To display your menu to customers who scan your QR code
• To provide scan analytics on your dashboard
• To send transactional emails (verification, password reset, scan limit notifications)

We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers. All connections between your browser and our servers are encrypted via TLS/SSL. Images you upload are stored on a secure content delivery network. We use trusted, industry-standard service providers for hosting, database management, image storage, and email delivery.

5. Your Rights

• You can update or delete your account at any time
• You can request a copy of your data by contacting us
• You can delete your restaurant and all associated data from the dashboard

6. Cookies

MenuWise uses essential cookies only. We do not use any tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.

• Authentication cookies — set when a restaurant owner logs in to manage their account. Required for the dashboard to function.
• Review cookies — set when a customer submits a review on a menu page. This prevents the same person from submitting multiple reviews for the same restaurant. The cookie expires after 30 days and contains no personal information.

Menu pages do not set any cookies unless a customer chooses to submit a review.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
